It is the task of the Prefecture of the Papal Household to coordinate the services of the Antechamber and to organize the official audiences granted by His Holiness to Heads of State, Heads of Government, Governmental Ministers and other dignitaries, as well as to Ambassadors who come to the Vatican to present their Letters of Credence.

  • Liturgical Celebrations (tickets required)

New Year’s Day: Papal Mass for the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, followed by the Angelus
Friday 6: Papal Mass for the Solemnity of the Epiphany, followed by the Angelus
Wednesday 25: Vespers in the Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls.
Be advised that tickets for ALL Papal ceremonies are issued free of charge.
